About This Blog

A student once told me I talked about heaven more than anyone else. Okay, I teach Catholic catechism, so that’s kind of understandable. But I do talk about heaven, because I think about heaven. A lot. Probably because I know some wonderful people who live there. But that’s what Advent is all about. Sure it’s four weeks on the liturgical calendar, but for Christians, it’s 24/7. We’re always thinking about this incredible kingdom ahead of us. Always waiting for it, living for it. That’s what my writing journey is all about. I’m always looking forward, always learning, always hoping (and somehow, always missing some important detail). Like most Christians, I’m always in Advent. I’m enjoying the wait.

So that’s what this blog is about. I post a lot during November, December, and January; not so much the rest of the year. But I’m working on it.

  1. What a wonderful outlook!
Part of waiting is doing the work….so…..(insert a sprinkling of guilt) you should hang with your writing all year 🙂
