This is why we can’t have anything nice…

On the plus side, though, the Advent wreath–candles, candleholders, and greenery–only set me back about 8 dollars at Michael’s…with the weekly coupon, of course.  At that price, this nifty little wreath is perfect for schools or parish religious ed programs.

At least the ones that don’t have cats.

  1. It is so comforting to know that your life is “normal”. For some reason we tend to think that writers about faith lead these perfect lives in these calm, peaceful, orderly homes. You are the inspiration that faith isn’t just something to live when everything’s perfect but also in the messiness of reality. You are a breadth of fresh air Connie!

    • Thanks for your kindness, Annie. And it’s comforting to hear from you that this messy (and it’s REALLY messy today), house and this complicated life is somewhat normal. Because I start to wonder sometimes…Peace to you today!
